Description

PREMIUM DRIED ATARODO

Two bold expressions of Nigeria’s treasured aromatic hot pepper.

Premium Dried Atarodo is carefully selected and preserved to retain the distinctive fragrance, concentrated heat, and beautifully complex pepper character associated with this essential Nigerian ingredient.

Celebrated for more than intensity alone, atarodo contributes an aromatic, gently fruity quality that brings warmth and depth to soups, stews, sauces, rice dishes, beans, marinades, and traditional cooking bases.

The Maison offers Premium Dried Atarodo in two carefully prepared forms: whole dried peppers for rehydrating, simmering, or blending and finely ground pepper for immediate, even distribution throughout the pot.

WHOLE DRIED ATARODO

Whole peppers offer versatility and control. They may be rehydrated and blended into a cooking base, simmered within soups and stews, or crushed according to the preferred preparation.

• Offering: Whole Dried Atarodo
• Net weight: 8 oz (227 g)

GROUND ATARODO

Finely ground for convenient use and smooth incorporation. This concentrated form disperses quickly through soups, sauces, marinades, spice blends, rice dishes, and stews.

• Offering: Ground Atarodo
• Net weight: 8 oz (227 g)

Both expressions possess naturally concentrated heat. Introduced carefully, atarodo enhances the dish with aromatic warmth while allowing meats, seafood, vegetables, grains, and traditional seasonings to remain beautifully defined.

Whether used for an everyday family meal or a festive heritage preparation, Premium Dried Atarodo brings unmistakable Nigerian character and refined pantry convenience to the pot.

THE POT AWAITS

FOR WHOLE DRIED ATARODO

Inspect and rinse the peppers carefully. To soften them, soak in clean warm water until pliable, then blend or chop according to the recipe. Whole peppers may also be introduced directly into slow-simmered dishes and removed before serving when desired.

FOR GROUND ATARODO

Begin with a very small quantity and introduce it gradually into the cooking base, soup, stew, sauce, marinade, or spice blend. Stir thoroughly and allow the heat to distribute before tasting.

Both forms are naturally potent. Avoid direct contact with the eyes or face, use utensils when possible, and wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Choose your form. Use sparingly. Let the heat unfold.
